FUN THINGS TO DO IN ORLANDO FOR FREE

Are you coming down to Orlando on vacation and you’re looking for affordable or free things to do for you and your family? Researching fun things to do in Orlando for free?  Hi, my name is Janine Rosario and I’m a Real Estate Agent here in the Central Florida and Orlando area, and I’m going to give you five quick things to do in Orlando, that’s either free or affordable.

Popcorn Flicks in the Park

The first thing to do is called Popcorn Flicks in the Park located in Central Park in the city of Winter Park. Winter Park is gorgeous! The movies in the park are free every second Thursday of the month.  You just need to bring your blanket and food if you want to, but it’s a good place to go hang out with the kids or family.

Disney Springs

The second thing to do is Disney Springs, sometimes referred to as Downtown Disney, which has a lot of entertainment. They’ll have performances and music which you could walk around and look at for free. There’s a lot of stores you can go to, of course, if you wanted to eat at the restaurant or buy something from the store that would cost money, but it’s free to park and walk around.  There is also a movie theater there and you’ll be entertained for a relatively low price.

Universal CityWalk

The third place to visit is Universal CityWalk. Universal CityWalk is similar to Disney Springs, but their parking is free after 6:00 pm.  They also have entertainment, music, and if you wanted to pay, they do have movies and restaurants as well.  You’ll get an exciting time out and you won’t have to pay to park for a lot of the performances that are around the area.

ICON Park Orlando

The fourth place is ICON Park Orlando. That’s where you see that huge Ferris wheel that we have in Orlando.  Of course to ride the Ferris wheel you have to pay but you can go down there and just walk around if you like as well. There’s music, nightlife, and restaurants.

Lake Eola Park

The last place on the list is Lake Eola Park. They have light shows and free concerts depending on the weather and the season. It’s beautiful and serene if you would just like to walk around.  The iconic fountain in the center of the lake has made its way onto many tourist blogs and number one lists of places to see when you’re in the Orlando area. In summary, these are 5 really fun things to do, that are either free or affordable, when you are visiting the Orlando area.
